You may already know that the Pantone Group has named Honeysuckle Pink the Color of the Year for 2011. Yes? But just in case you've been on vacation and missed the memo, here it is...

I was surprised to see that the name for the pink is "Honeysuckle" because when I was growing up and sucking the "honey" out of the flowers, they were yellow. However, I just spoke with my friend from North Carolina who tells me the honeysuckle flowers in her home-state were a variegated pink. Who knew?
